Mamaw still didn’t have television in her bedroom so she was up early this morning. She didn’t get me up right away though—she got bundled up and went outside to make sure I would be able to squat. She’s really very thoughtful that way; always concerned about how things will affect me.
Poppy started his car again and I begged and begged to go. They took me; does that mean I win? We went to PetSmart so I could get some exercise (Mamaw too). She walked me pretty fast up and down those aisles while Poppy shopped for me. Mamaw insisted on getting me a new toy—“Dino-po.” Then I got another ride. You know, I could get used to this and require a ride every day!
Home again—in my kennel. They are going to the grocery store. Well, I’m kinda tired anyway, I’m still on the pain medication that makes me sleepy so I shall rest.
They’re going out—they got all cleaned up again. Mamaw says they are going to Drake to watch the girls basketball game against UNI tonight. The paper said this morning it is expected to be a thriller. It’s good they get out once in a while so I’m not going to complain. I just hope when they put me in the kennel they will put “froggy” in with me.
John and Judy came in the house and John let me out of the kennel for a little “lovin.” I love that guy! But back to the kennel—the basketball game is calling their name. They’re home by 9:30 and I get to spend some one-on-one time with them. I like it that they don’t just come in and ignore me until morning. I’m always offered potty privileges and a big love. (smile)
