Slept in a little today. Rainy, rainy is the weather. That’s okay—Mamaw says so. A light rain will help get rid of the “ugly” snow. Needless to say, my snow mountain is nearly gone. I don’t have near as much fun now. I do notice though, that the ground is wet and muddy and I don’t like to get my feet dirty. That means I have to sit and have my feet dried or Mamaw sticks me in the tub to clean them. Hurry up Spring! Good girls just want to have fun!!

Poppy and Mamaw were whispering about me. They think I’ve turned into a teenager—you know—hire a teenager while they still know everything. I was nipping yesterday and today when Mamaw was brushing me I showed her “my ugly” look. She informed me right off the bat that she doesn’t intend to put up with that either. I just can’t seem to win—but I’m gonna keep trying…maybe they’ll get tired of correcting me and I can do my own thing…(I can hope, can't I)

Mamaw says she’s going out for lunch with a friend cause she’s celebrating losing 5 more lbs. I’ll just have to be content to stay in the kennel until she gets back. I know she’ll be taking me for another walk when she gets back so I’m gonna rest for now.

Aw—the walk! It just SMELLS like Spring out there. I just love getting my nose up close and personal to everything. She’s such a great person and loves me dearly. However, she informs me the barking at people going by has got to stop! She wants to leave the door on the East open this spring/summer and she knows I’ll just drive her crazy with the barking. I don’t know what the happy medium is cause THAT’S MY JOB! I’m supposed to be the watch dog and protect my family. I think she’s gonna call Bark Busters and ask Deb Boswell for some help again.  In the meantime, I have a feeling I’ll have to be in my kennel A LOT!

Daylight Saving Time begins tomorrow—after dinner Mamaw is going around to every clock pushing them an hour ahead. She hates that! She’s gonna lose an hour now until it ends. But she’s happy—Spring is here in 6-7 weeks now.
