Well, ain’t that just great! Rainy day again. I wanta walk—it’s rainin—and Mamaw introduced me to her umbrella. Well, that’s what she called it anyway. It is black and when she picks it up it is long and skinny. Then she pushes a button and oh my God—it’s so big! I’m scared of it. I don’t want to walk. Put it down Mamaw—let’s go back in the house.

And so—just try to entertain yourself when Poppy has his work to do and Mamaw is lookin for jobs today. I hate that! She just spends so much time in that office I’d like to chew the door off. I did really get her upset this morning though. She bought a new pillow—love it! It has lips on it and it says Always kiss me goodnight. Since she put it on the bed, I don’t care about any of the others. I WANT that one. I’ve been dragging it around; she retrieves it; I go get it; she retrieves it and on and on. She finally grabbed me up in her frustration and put me in the kennel. Crap…she’s no fun. I am trying to get her goat though—I paw, paw, paw in the kennel to let her know how mad I am!

Mamaw is a fuss bucket. Every time I come out of my kennel, she lovingly pulls my pad (all wrinkled up) out, shakes it, and places it back in flat on its back! She knows…I know she knows. But she never says anything—just fixes it up for me. Do you reckin at this point she’s saying Mother Knows Best?

I did get special exercise on the waterbed today though. Mamaw wants to watch Dr. Phil. He’s got that God awful family on today that he’s been workin with for so long. Mamaw says he should just tell them all to get a life and get on with it. But I think he’s as dedicated as Mamaw and she just can’t see it that way. Anyway, she is watching and I am rolling and rolling and just having a grand time! I love it—I hope he keeps that family around for a long time.

And it is 24 night. The show is ending soon. Mamaw just said tonight she thinks one more night and its done. She wonders if they are going to kill Jack! I try not to have to go out during her show cause she isn’t very happy about missin any part of it. But, just before it was over, my nose went on a mission and I just knew Ozzie was outside the door! I begged and begged—finally. Hi Ozzie—it’s me… We got to be together for a few minutes and this poor guy is still wearing his T-shirt from his surgery! He wants to lick his stitches and he can’t do that—looks ever so more handsome in it though! We’re gonna get together once the lawn dries out again!
