I slept in my NEW KENNEL last night! Yeah, I’ve outgrown 3 and I’m into my 4th. We don’t like it as well cause it is very hard to open. I hope we never have an emergency where we gotta get me out quick cause we could be in trouble.
The weather is yucky—the painters are here scraping the building. It’s cold…Nothing exciting going on here. But John is coming this afternoon to do some “honey-doos” for Mamaw and Poppy so I suppose it could get somewhat interesting at that point.
John came and helped with our “I can’t live without it” table. I got to see him a little bit and I sure do like that guy! But it wasn’t long and I was whisked up and in the kennel. There was hammering and drill noises going on. He was able to fix our old table and Mamaw and Poppy like it better than the new one—go figure…
We did a short walk after the rain stopped. I managed to get my “job done” before we started so there was no messing around…walk, walk, walk. I needed it and I know Mamaw’s hip was just killing her so she was trying to get some of my energy excised.
Mamaw laid down on the bed to watch Dr. Phil and I snuck in there and laid down with her. Before long, there was a bright flash in the room—woke us both up. It was Poppy taking a picture of “his two girls.”
And so we finish another day. Wasn’t very exciting and Poppy said it best: He said, “Frankly I don’t give a damn Scarlett.” Okay—let’s just call it a day. Nighty night…
