I am exhausted today! I mean EXHAUSTED…I’ve been out only to do my duty and beyond that I have been resting. Mamaw put on her coat and scarf and asked if I wanted to walk—I just turned my head and ignored her—she got the idea.

Poppy is taking another online test and he’s been in the office for hours now. Mamaw is trying to keep the house quiet while he does that. She’s been busy trying to balance the checking account and reading the paper.

They both are getting “duded up” to go out tonight. They are meeting an old school friend from Poppy’s Fonda days. I don’t feel well so it’s okay—I’ve spent most of my time just laying around today anyway. They were gone a couple of hours and came home—there’s lots of snow on the ground! Well, I went out to go potty and then I was ready to go!!! I found energy I didn’t know I had! Mamaw, however, is not in the mood. She went to bed and closed the door so I enjoyed some time with Poppy.
