Today has been nearly a lost day—for Mamaw and for me. And Poppy said this morning he is really tired. These trips are gonna kill us all…

Mamaw has been busy looking on the Internet for jobs and looking at pictures from her cruise. I’ve been busy sleeping, sleeping and sleeping—well, that isn’t all. I’ve been barking too and I wouldn’t stop (it’s my job to protect the family). Mamaw stuck me in the kennel so she could get some things done cause my barking was really frustrating her today. Well, she’s tired too!

I’ve been outside—my first walk was around the complex. That damned black and white “whatever he is” was staked outside and of course he had to start in on me. Well, at least he couldn’t ATTACK me like that monster yesterday. But he’s so disgusting…he just goes on and on and the owner doesn’t seem to be able to do anything with him. I say give him away!

The second walk was damned scary. We walked down by the school and here came a lady into the school parking lot. She ran up on the curb two different times. It was so noisy we both stopped to look but Mamaw was kind of afraid to ask her if she was okay. Her window was down though. We kinda wondered if the lady was drunk. Then she drove around the school drive and back toward the stop light ONLY SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE! She sat at the stop light a long time and from time to time tooted the horn. But as we approached, she finally left. Mamaw says she’s gonna keep a look-out in case she comes back. I mean, after all, she may have a kid in the school and if she’s ill or driving drunk—well, neither one is a good idea.

Oh no, we’re having the carpeting cleaned tomorrow so Mamaw is driving herself crazy trying to clean before they come! She’s gonna kill herself I tell ya, kill herself…And she’s been to PetSmart (guess she didn’t want to mess with me today) where she picked up some food and some outside stuff. She’s gonna tie me out sometimes so I can just play till my hearts content!
