Training 101 all day today. Mamaw is getting me ready for Poppy to take over when she’s on her trip. Now when we go outside for a walk, she is going in different directions so I have to pay close attention. And the hole in the wall stairs—we’ve done the up many times today and she even got me started on the down! I got to stay in the basement for a while this afternoon while they played pool. They are so funny. And they are competitive too! My head is kind of spinning from the extra ordinary long walk and the ups and downs in life.

She has been on the computer a lot today too. She’s having to get her job searches done for 2 weeks so Poppy can help her out. She is very organized and it’ll be done come hell or high water.

And Poppy asked me if I wanted a ride in the car? Are you kidding me? We went to wash the car in this place kind of like the other one Mamaw went to but this one didn’t have those big red strips that kept hitting the car. This one had lots of metal on it and the metal thing moved forward and backward—it didn’t scare me near as much as the other one did. Of course Mamaw wasn’t driving this time and I just cuddled up in her lap. I got hot though—lots of worry about whether we would be alright. She keeps telling me things are perfect.

So then the long ride—I always love that. Poppy opened a hole in the top of the car and I got so many smells going, I didn’t know which way to turn. I sat up and tried to keep them safe until I finally just completely relaxed and took a nap. Wonderful day!
