That guy named Tiger Woods is going to be playing golf on TV today so Mamaw is getting around and getting things done early.
I heard her in the bathroom shaving her legs and Poppy running the microwave to take her a cup of tea. I thought that was really SWEET! She’s dressed and ready to take me outside. The paint chips from the painters scrapping are gone—Mamaw is so happy. I try to snatch them up and she’s always after me about that. So, she didn’t have to sweep them up after all.
Okay, finish the grocery list and be gone. The painter’s are in our driveway and Mamaw is getting directions from them on how this painting business is going to happen. And then—off to the store. She comes home with all kinds of groceries and I like to snoop along with Poppy to see what in the world she bought!
Our walk took us to the elementary school today. Mamaw likes to take me there when it is recess time so I can watch the kids. Everything is getting GREEN around here and it’s just so pretty. Sometimes I wish we didn’t have to walk so fast but if she didn’t keep me on task, I’d be eating everything in sight.
Today Mamaw really stepped on my toes so to speak and insists I learn to heel. That’s all new—for me and for her. Well, I think I did pretty darned good but we both returned to the house exhausted! We had shorter walks and much more stressful…Hope tomorrow is better.
And I’ve really had a nasty attitude this evening. I’m just not happy but don’t know why. I want Mamaw to just sit on the floor and play with me. And when she does, I get really rough on her so I can’t win. I’ve been “in the house,” “out of the house,” and locked in the kennel. Go figure…
