Oh boy, the sun is shining today! Mamaw, let’s get those sheets washed and back on the bed so we can go for a walk. It is Saturday and I bet kids will be out today in style…

Doesn’t look like a walk this morning anyway. Mamaw was in the office writing the blog and she got a phone call. She almost ran back to the bedroom to get a shower and get cleaned up so I know she is going out for a while. She has washed her hair and styled it so I know she won’t put a scarf on to walk and she always gets water in her ears when she washes her hair so I will just have to wait…

She’s home – and happy. She dragged all kinds of stuff in the house so I guess her shopping was successful. I hope Poppy thinks so too. Poppy has kind of been a bummer for a few days lately. I try to attack him with kisses, kisses and kisses but I can’t make him laugh. He is way too serious—Mamaw thinks so too. We don’t know what to do about him but just keep right on lovin him to death.

When we took our second walk, Pepper was out with Steve for a walk and we ran into them. I always get too excited to see her and I jump and move too quickly—she doesn’t like that. Oh, she’s a lady though—she would just rather avoid me if possible. Mamaw reined me in and made me sit but by then Pepper had had enough of me.  They went on with their walk.  Mamaw is thinking she should discuss this is Deb at Bark Busters on Tuesday when she comes. I dread it…
