There is all this talk about sweethearts today. What to buy them, what to cook for them—good God, just FEED THEM. I feel the romance every day with my Mamaw. She is always looking out for me and I sure to love that! On our walk, we saw a little dog I really wanted to get close to. But again, I’m just too hyper. Mamaw tries to hold me back but I just can’t stand it. She’s going to talk to Deb Boswell about that to see how we can make it easier on them—and on me.

The doorbell rang just as we were going to leave on a walk. Beautiful red roses appeared out of nowhere for Mamaw. Oh my gosh, they are from Poppy “for his favorite Valentine.”

Dodi came to see us for Mamaw’s Valentine’s day and birthday on Tuesday. She love me…all I have to do is wag my tail and she’s a goner! We played for a while and then I had to go to my kennel cause Dodi wants to take her for lunch—isn’t that nice? Well, I’m not going to complain cause with the weather we haven’t seen much of Dodi and I like the way she loves me and the way she smells. She has her wiener dog Max and I like to smell him too. In the spring we’re gonna get together and walk. Dodi says Max will say, “Oh baby, where have you been all my life” to me and I’m gonna eat that right up! When they came back, they looked at my blog and talked about business cards to promote my blog and I noticed Mamaw had a brand new necklace and earring (Dodi gave them to her) and I REALLY like the way she looks like a walking target now. I’m gonna try to get into mischief if I can.

Well, if it doesn’t beat all—now Poppy is home and they are going out to eat with the family for Valentine’s Day. How many presents does Poppy give her for heaven’s sake. He’s gonna spoil her and then he’s goin to be sorry! Guess he’ll have to figure that one out on his own. I love the sound of the garage door—I know somebody is home. Mamaw took me for another walk. It was dark and kind of a new thing for me but I sure liked it! A little bit of playing but then I was tired after the walk so off to bed I went.
