We are getting up a little earlier every day—I don’t really know what the rush is. I do know, though, that Mamaw has got a terrible head cold or allergy. Her nose is dripping all the time and it is bright red!

We got a walk in this morning but no more the rest of the day. Poppy had to go to the dentist to get a tooth filled so when he came back he invited me to go on a car ride again. You’re crazy if you think I will turn that down! Off we three went—down to PetSmart to get some stuff for me. I just love walking up and down the aisles—the people go CRAZY over me. Mamaw asked that groomer, LeAnn and come out and talk for a minute about how we want my hair cut in the future. Well, come to find out SHE says I have lots of baby hair yet and will have until I’m about 10 months old! That explains some of it to us. In places the hair is softer and finer—That’s the baby hair…Learn something new every day.

This afternoon Mamaw just had to go lie down. She put me in the kennel cause she thinks Poppy wants to rest too. The house was pretty quiet for a couple of hours…then it was time for me to be the WATCH DOG again. I half lay on the end table and arm of the couch and make sure everything is safe in our house. When I see somebody coming our way, I bark to let Mamaw know there could be danger on it way. Then she will instruct me to quit barking so I guess that means all is okay.
