We’re getting so darned busy around here—I think it has to do with Mamaw going on her cruise. For Lord sake, today she barely had time for me! Well, it seems that way anyway. I’m outside and then back in, slam, bam, thank you Mamaw and she’s busy getting ready to go someplace again today! Oh yeah, this is her really “get it together day” I guess. She’s off to get her hair colored, a pedicure and get her brows and upper lip waxed. She’s gonna go through hell, I can tell you that right now. And for what? That stupid trip she’s goin on, leaving Poppy and me to fend for ourselves? I just don’t think it is very fair. Well, it doesn’t matter, she didn’t ask our permission.
Then she will lunch with Sue and work out all of their questions and plans for the cruise. I hope she remembers her diet and keeps workin hard on it!
Hello Mamaw—can we walk now? Sure, says she and away we go. She did put on her funky shoes cause it is still slick in some spots. The snow mountains are so huge and now that she’s been workin with me on coming up the stairs, I can easily jump right up on them and look over the top. I feel like QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN—feels good! We really walked too. It was quite a lovely middle afternoon so we took advantage of it. Besides, I think she felt kind of guilty for leaving me alone for so long.
She has a sweet spirit though. LeAnn, the lady who groomed me with my big girl haircut? Mamaw took the time to take pictures and made a very nice presentation and took it to her yesterday. Mamaw said she was so pleased and made the comment that, “I’ve been doing this for 17 years and I’ve never seen a more beautiful animal.” Of course, that popped Mamaw’s buttons.
