Another pretty day—yet not quite as warm. I’m loving it! Mamaw and I strut around our townhome area taking in the sights and sounds. She is so proud of me—she’s been using the special Bark Buster collar and now I am walking with her just the way she wants me to. She’s pleased and let me tell ya, it’s a lot easier on my neck.

My tummy where my stitches are is starting to bother me. I lick and lick them but they are getting tight. I think we can get them out on Monday.

Mamaw got all “duded up in those funky shoes” and crawled out the door onto the patio where there was so much snow. She worried about all that weight on the deck so she got busy. She got a lot of it off and then she came in the house and got me. Oh good grief! She sat me on top of the very highest mound and Poppy took pictures. They can’t fool me anymore—Mamaw is always wanting a photo op of something! Well, how could I deny her that? So most of her day has been spent out there and I guess it’s good to have that done. The Farmer’s Almanac says we’re really going to get it in February. Uch!

She was so tired she laid down for a while. Well, I was tired too—our walk was speedy Gonzalez so she put me in the kennel and we both rested.

She’s up – she’s getting her coat on – she has grabbed me leash – she’s heading for the garage door – she’s putting her funky shoes on – yep, we’re goin for another walk. I love it!

Mamaw is complaining to Poppy about me. She says she does the training, feeding and walking and that I jump up on him and give him all my kisses. I think she’s just tired from all the scooping and really just needs to go to bed and get some rest. Of course I love Mamaw every bit as much as I love Poppy. She’s my mainstay…I’m going to bed Mamaw—you go too and get some rest. I hope your sore body feels better tomorrow. Nighty night.
