Poppy’s at work – Mamaw is hangin out. She been through the paper and on the phone for a long time. I spent part of that time in my kennel cause I wouldn’t quit jumping up on their “I can’t live without it table.” She’s happier now—the cruise is booked. She and her friend, Sue, are taking a 7-night exotic Western Caribbean cruise. They will dock at Costa Maya, Mexico; Guatemala, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico. They are really getting excited about this trip—they want to get out of this cold weather. Well, who doesn’t? She invited Poppy to go but he said NO.

The sun is shining today and we had a wonderful walk. We are only taking half walks again cause Mamaw is afraid my feet will get too cold. Oh, it was just beautiful. I would stop along the way a grab a mouthful of snow—love the stuff. And I really fooled her today. I managed to get my mouth on a cigarette butt and when she came after me to get it, the chewed really fast and swallowed it. So there, Mamaw. I can’t be a model prisoner all of the time! Second walk she was ready for my shenanigans! I didn’t get a chance to get a “butt” and the stops of eating snow were short and few.

I decided to be really good in the evening. I love to jump up on the couch (I have to be on my blue pad) and kiss and kiss Poppy. We both just get so excited! But when he gets tired Mamaw says I need to let him rest—so I might have to go in the kennel if I won’t behave…
