When I went out to go potty, that darned black and white floppy dog was in our driveway. I don’t know if it is a he or a she, but I don’t like him! He gets very territorial (and it’s my driveway) so Mamaw won’t take me around him. I think he is the culprit that leaves poop all over our yard and that upsets her. Well—we have to move on…
There is more of that going up and down the big hole today. I have to wonder what she spends her time doing down there. Is it just laundry—or is it something else? I know it is laundry if I see her bring up a basket but otherwise—WHAT IS SHE DOING?
I’m sort of bored or not feeling so good; one or the other. My mouth hurts (it bleeds when I bite too hard on my toys) so it is hard for me to entertain myself. I’m usually really good at that. So, as I get bored I do things I shouldn’t—Mamaw doesn’t like it! She is beginning to use the words “bad dog” and scolds me two times. After that it is LOCK-UP. She told Poppy this morning that when Deb from Bark Busters comes, she’s going to see a couple of things she doesn’t like. Oh, oh…I wish she’d give me a hint so I could try to straighten up.
Oh, that dang black and white dog is back in our yard. I wonder what it is about OUR YARD he likes so much? Well…what can I say?
What a lovely walk we had today. Mamaw all “duded up” in her ice shoes, coat, scarf, gloves, plastic bag and Kleenex (to clean up the poop). There was so much yellow snow out there to investigate. I’ve pretty much finished investigating our yard so the new smells were exciting. She allowed me to stop a bit from time to time just to see what I thought of it all. After we got a little over half-way around, I laid down—I’d had enough! Well, of course she kept pulling on me and saying, “Come on, we have to make it home.” God—was I glad to MAKE IT HOME. That trip took all of the pee and vinegar out of me for a while.
I’ve been Poppy’s girl a lot today. Mamaw has been working in the office for most of the day. So I just jumped up on the couch and took naps with him. It feels so warm and cuddly…
