Aw yes, the day after...Sunday this year.  I tried to talk Mamaw into staying in her pj's all day cause that's what Dodi said she was gonna do but she just couldn't--didn't feel right about that she said.  And Poppy?  Well, the poor guy has to go off to the DUNGEON to work--he said, "It might be pretty slow today but if somebody breaks their glasses we gotta be there for them anyway."  He's such a great fella--thoughtful too!

Ozzie has to have surgery on his mouth one day this week and I wanta see him just as much as I can.  I could "smell the big boy" out so I started in with my hissy fit and she took me out--and WITHOUT A LEASH!  I ran right down the sidewalk to my Ozzie and gave him a great big kiss!  We had our time together and parting is always bittersweet but ya know, our toes get cold and we can't just stay out forever.  And Becky is gonna go out today and tonight so she's gotta run now.  Bye Becky--see ya later Ozzie my love...

Mamaw wasn't in any mood to do any more work.  Well, I guess not; nearly drove us all crazy around here gettin ready for Christmas!  She just sorta laid back and watched a movie (yeah; notice she's gettin into that) and I lay down beside her and helped her watch the movie cause I knew I'd get my tummy rub.  Now, interestingly enough, Poppy rubs--Mamaw tickles.  She says, "Miss Scarlett, here come the tickle bug."  And then my feet start to tap dance.

She loves it when Poppy spoils her ya know...she spent time on her new laptop computer and read her e-reader for a while too.  In the evening I wanted to go to the waterbed cause she hasn't let me come back with her for a couple nights or so.  She took her e-reader back with us and as she read her "book", I snuggled just as close as I could to her and she gently rubbed me.  It was such a delightful time--I swear people, I thought I was in H.E.A.V.E.N.  Then abruptly she got up, went to pick me up to go to my kennel and I didn't want any part of that.  I rand from one side of the bed to the other and even threaten her with "my ugly face" but she wasn't having any of that.  She made me get DOWN ON THE FLOOR AND WALK TO THE KENNEL MYSELF!  Now--that is humiliating...
