Mamaw asked me today what I was thankful for this year.  I told her I was thankful I got to meet My MAMA, I've done some traveling, I've learned lots of new things (thanks Mamaw), I've got great human parents, good food, lots and lots of love and the waterbed.  I've become close to a number of canines and consider them to be my friends.  I'm thankful that Ozzie's cancer seems to be in remission or somethin--I adore him.  I've appreciated my rides in the car and the smells they let me experience.  And most of all, I'm thankful that Poppy can still work so we can buy my good food...what are you thankful for?  See the envelope at the bottom of my post?  Please leave your messages for me about "your thankful heart" there.

Mamaw left for a while this mornin to go to the bank on business.  She saw Courtney; she's the very first person they met at the bank when they moved to West Des Moines.  Well, it took a phone call and some "deep thinkin" but they figured it out.  She came home hummin I'm Dreamin Of A White Christmas.  Good so far...

We promised Becky we'd take Ozzie out so with me on my leash we went to get him ready to go.  We both just get so excited we don't know which end is up!!!  Had a lovely, lovely smellin good time--if ya get what I mean?  And he had to stay longer at our house today.  Mamaw is tryin to get him to feel more comfortable with us.  The night the ambulance came for Cully was a terrible, terrible thing for Ozzie--and then he had to stay with us for days.  He doesn't want to be away from home LIKE THAT again.  Can't say as I blame him...

A little later she asked if I wanted to go for a ride in her car?  Don't even ask...I was out the door like Superwoman and peein so I could get in the car with her!  She always starts the car and warms it up for me (smile).  And hey--did I tell ya the wonderful news?  She's got me trained so I don't need to be on a leash--well, except when I go out with Ozzie and when I go for a ride.  She's afraid I just might go "hog wild" and there's that busy street don't ya know?

I knew exactly the moment she pulled into PetSmart and she assured me that I was getting "A Christmas Haircut."  I pulled on that leash so fast to get to LeeAnn--I love that gal!  AND SHE LOVES ME TOO!  I got another Christmas "goody" bag from her today!  And I look so beautiful...
