Life is normal around here again—thank the good Lord for that! I have no idea what is gonna happen today but I’m lookin forward to all of it.

Mamaw got Ozzie to come out in the yard and took me out too so we were able to spend some valuable time together. I’m in love with the guy, ya know? The weather was so pretty we just layed out there in the sun and soaked it up while Mamaw sanded and sanded again. Nice, nice, nice. And then Jessie came along and entertained Ozzie and me for a while—that was nice too.

By then it was time to take Ozzie in with Cully so I had to put on my “body armor” for our walk. Jessie said she’d go with us—but no Pepper.

I wanted to impress Jessie so I was darned near perfect! She let me off leash for quite a while and I was perfect with that too! The walk was so pleasant—they visited with each other and from time to time told me what a good job I was doin. But when we got home Mamaw took my armor off cause if she doesn’t I chew on it. Well, listen to me—I think the thing is just for walkin; not everyday wear.

I gotta be quiet when I tell ya this, so I’m gonna whisper…I like it when we don’t have the Internet. She has lots more time for me so we can play and cuddle. Oh don’t get me wrong, she still works on her novel and everything but she can’t post my blogs. She’ll be really busy when she can get all caught up again with that.

She had to wash towels again today cause I got just a little sick and needed my pad washed. She just goes ahead and makes a load of wash so both she and Poppy have clean towels tonight. When finished with that, she shoved me in the kennel and got her IPod and headed out for HER WALK. She goes lots further than I do so she’s afraid to trust me too far in the house.

My gosh—she got home and told me she was goin to go back out and sand some more. She really wants to get that project finished before it’s too cold to sand outside or in the garage. And then she swept the garage. She came back in the house and got the vacuum cleaner and took it to the garage—I couldn’t believe it! Mamaw left the door to the garage open so I snuck out there and you’ll never believe just what she was doin. She was running the vacuum cleaner over that green thing Poppy practices golf with! I gotta ask myself if she’s losin her mind.

She sat on the couch and just invited me up to sit with her. I jumped up and lay across her lap. Then I tipped my head back to look at her and she looked so delicious I just laid back in her arms and when she looked at me I gave her a great big smooch! Love her…

We’re gonna watch some new shows again tonight Mamaw says. Poppy is pooped—asleep already so we snuck in to the bedroom and lay cross ways on the waterbed. She just loves doin that. But finally I gotta go to bed and I sure hate to leave her but she insists that her bed is hers and mine is mine. Have a great night everybody—I’ll be checkin in tomorrow.
