Mamaw got Poppy’s white hankies bleached again! I try to help her carry that stuff up and down the stairs to the basement—sometimes she appreciates it; other times she does not.

What a darned nice day it was to do “off leash” work on the trail. We don’t understand why there isn’t anything goin on up there but nobody so we worked, and worked. I love bein able to just go where the nose goes cause it knows where to go. On the leash sometimes it pulls my back and I don’t get to finish my nose job. But today—it was absolutely tremendous! And I met a collie dog that was more white than black—it was very interesting. His owner told us all about it.

Mamaw had to run to HyVee today to pick up some stuff but she wasn’t gone long. In fact, she trusted me out of my kennel while she was gone. I went back in the office and just waited for her till I heard the door open—well, at least I thought it would be her—and it was.

We decided to take a “lay down” during the football games. Mamaw had to flip the channels between Notre Dame and Iowa but she got the job done! We both got a nice nap and both of her teams won. And Poppy came home and caught us sleepin on that waterbed. Sorry Poppy—the devil made us do it and besides I think Mamaw is all worn out with all the stuff she’s been trying to keep up with so I helped her rest.

With Poppy to snuggle with, Mamaw announced she was goin on her long walk. We just rested and waited for her to come home. It’s nice to be able to cuddle with each of them; one at a time.

Pork chops served for dinner—Lord, I wanted one! You know the answer to did I get one don’t ya? The same ole, same ole. I have to resort to my own food dish. I made Mamaw take me outside 3 times after dinner. She’s been kinda selfish about givin up the food so I decided maybe I’d punish her just a little. (smile)

I sorta woke up late in the evening and Mamaw was carryin me to my kennel. Sure wish I could spend the whole night there but suppose that isn’t goin to happen either…
