We fixed Poppy’s lunch and Mamaw dropped a couple of corn chips on the floor. I grab em up and eat em—they’re so good! I try to be right there when she puts that stuff together cause if she has an accident, I help her clean it up.

I’m in no mood to walk today so don’t mess with me. Our walk two days ago scared the hell out of me. We got up to the top of the trail and some kid fell off his skateboard and the noise was ever so loud. So I’m boycotting the walks again—I suppose we’ll continue trying until I get tired of it and just give in. She says she loves to watch me walk cause I’m so graceful.

Since I’m spooked again about the walk, I’ve been barking too much today. She told me I was goin to the kennel if I couldn’t settle down. I tried—I really tried.

Mamaw finally picked me up and in the kennel I went. Oh, well it’s because she’s leavin me. She was gone a couple of hours and came back (I think in a better mood) but I’ll be careful. She wrote stuff while I watched, barked and bugged her to play. We got all that done before Poppy got home from work.

Grilled chicken breasts and a baked potato for dinner. Mamaw cooked while Poppy got in a quick rest. She had some kind of fruit too—but I got none.

I went to the waterbed with her but she wasn’t havin any more of my mischief-makin. She made me go out with Poppy. I just shrugged my shoulder and said, “whatever.” She enjoyed The Defenders without me—and the news. And then she got up to go potty and looked out in the living room and here I was—all alone. Poppy was snoring and I’m at loose ends. She made me go to the kennel—I wanted to go with her. (frown) Alright already—so goodnight!
