It’s pretty obvious Mamaw is “on the road again” today—she’s all duded up AGAIN! Oh yeah, she’s goin to Omaha with Dodi and Deb to Lynette’s 60th birthday party. She’s all excited about it—hasn’t seen her in years. She’s been real sick and her husband passed away in March. I can’t go…

They left before Poppy did so I got to stay out of the kennel a while longer. So I might as well not complain about things – just do as I’m told. Poppy will be the first one home today so I’ll be listenin for his car!

And it was sure good to get out of the kennel and stretch out. I make quite a deal of it too. Well actually, I make a BIG deal out of it cause I know they get a kick out of me goin through all that rigmarole. He let me outside and my sides were about to burst—now I’m okay. It’s time to wait for Mamaw.

When she got home the girls all came in to use the potty and I got to see everybody. Oh, Hayleigh came too! I hope she’ll come stay with us again sometime—she’s fun!

You guessed it—Mamaw is exhausted. And does she want to play with me? No way—for God’s sake she just wants to read the paper. Well, I’m not standin for that. I bugged her till she would play for a while then I let her rest and read cause I know she’ll be goin to the waterbed and I wanta go too.

Right again—I spent a long, long time in there. We both fell asleep. I finally started kissin on her to wake her up cause I know I’m supposed to go to my own bed. I hope she’s not leavin me tomorrow again…
