Thankfully we usually get a reprieve from over-stimulation after a day of mucho activity! I get to rest—however; I was invited to go on a walk but “no thanks.” After she almost dumped me out and left me at a strange gas station I’m not sure what she would do.

So she got duded up and went to Jessie’s house where they worked on shortening a pair of new yellow jeans Mamaw bought at a “going out of business” joint for $21.00. That’s why they are too long—she needs Petite but she said for the price she could have them shortened. I love, love, love the color of them too!

And then she and Jessie went to the old Ingersoll Dinner Theater which they have turned into an eating, drinking, dancing place called The Copa Cavana. She came home with yet more photos to show me and said they had a good time. The Cuban bread was marvelous (she usually doesn’t eat bread ya know).

And she took Jessie to a couple of her favorite joints where they sell stuff. Jessie was impressed—Mamaw was very pleased. And I think it’s good that Mamaw is going out a little more. She works real hard and deserves some recreation. My only question is: What is she going to do with all of those pictures she takes?
