Good thing Mamaw was up early today. Jean brought Ozzie back cause she has to go home and get ready for work. Oh, oh – Mamaw wasn’t expectin that! Now what? She has a hair appointment at 8:30 and Poppy has to go to work. She shifted gears real, real fast—never seen anything like it really. Now am I gonna have to put up with HIM all day, “hoggin” my Mamaw?
She’s smart though—Becky told her where to find the key but Jean said it wasn’t there. She ran next door and finally found it so she came back to our house and got Ozzie. She took him to his house (where his food and water is) and will check on him after her hair is done. One of Cully’s friends is supposed to “dog sit” today so we’ll keep and eye out and make sure he gets taken care of. After all, Mamaw says if that was her in the hospital, she’d want somebody takin good care of me. Maybe I better not complain???
Home from her hair and she didn’t even let me out of the kennel but got on the phone to BELKIN. She couldn’t understand the guy (from India) but just kept asking him to repeat himself. Finally, the guy decided it was a defective router. Still in the kennel, she boxes it up and off she goes again! She returned it to the store and went to Best Buys to get the Netgear like they had last time. She called Mark—he’ll be back later today. We’ll see…she’s very frustrated I CAN TELL YOU THAT!
Mark came back this afternoon and fixed the internet problem—that’s good for Mamaw. Ozzie has been here about too long—I think the honeymoon may be over. He ate my food—did ya hear me? MY FOOD! And every time Mamaw fills the water dish he DRINKS IT ALL! Maybe I was wrong to think I could love such a “big lug.” Maybe, just maybe, he would starve me to death.
I was happy when they came to get him this afternoon. I had even gone into my kennel just to get some relief from him. He thinks he “owns” Mamaw and I’m telling ya—that just isn’t right. I think maybe he’s comin back tomorrow yet—don’t know what I will do with him.
But for now—I’m tired. I’m putting myself to bed so goodnight Mamaw—goodnight Poppy. I hope I don’t have nightmares about bein hungry tonight…
