Mamaw is fussin about not havin enough time in Michigan—with the family. Well, get around then and get to doin what ya want to do! When she got up this morning, Poppy was off on another one of his rides. He’s checkin out the country. And Mamaw slept LATE—9:00 a.m. I thought my sides were gonna burst but I made it out just in the nick of time. I had no time to sniff and check out the area I would use so I had to trust that it was for me—and it was safe.

Kim and Jonn were long gone by that time and Dan was doin his “morning reading.” Mamaw and I know better than to interrupt that. Well Poppy came home and said he’s been around different areas of Kalamazoo. They visited and tried to get the laptop on the wireless internet but that didn’t work so they decided just to start out the day. At 2:00 p.m. or so, Dan would have to get Jonn from school and bring him home so they shoved me in the kennel and asked Mr. Isaiah to go back and stay with me to keep me company.

Dan got the 1998 RED, MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE out of the garage and away they went. I said, “For heaven’s sake Isaiah—couldn’t they take us along too”? Isaiah told me there wasn’t enough room. He told me that HE can’t even ride in the back seat cause he’s too big! Oh my—must not be anything like Poppy’s Lexus!

When they got back, Mamaw let me outside and took Isaiah along too. I hope she doesn’t ask the family if she can take him home with us—I really wouldn’t appreciate sharing her all of the time. She told me they went for another ride and Dan bought flowers for his wife. Bet you won’t guess what kind? You got it, red roses just like Poppy and I got for Mamaw! That Dan, he’s a real thoughtful guy. Then they drove over to that humungous church and had lunch with Miss Kim and gave her the flowers. She’s had a couple of rough days a work.

And then Kim took em on a tour of the humungous church—that probably took an hour—don’t ya think? And then Dan took her to the Mall to get a watch battery for the watch she is giving to James. He’s comin for dinner Friday night—Mamaw’s cookin (right out of the big Sam’s store I’m sure) and they’ll celebrate his 20th birthday.

She’s real fair though—she gave Jonn a CD protector and Poppy gave him some CDW-RW’s so he can save some of the music he “mixes” on. I don’t understand all of that but it’s okay—he likes it and that makes me very happy!
