Poppy is home! Oops—he and Mamaw are goin to take Miss Betty out for lunch cause she’s movin back to Denison. They “herded me” into the kennel and went to run a couple of errands and went to lunch on the East side of Des Moines. They both said it was very good and came highly recommended by Vicki. They went back to Vicki’s house to see all the work she has done to sell their house…yep; they are gonna move too—in January to a new house in Ankeny. I told ya—everybody’s movin on up! I’m sure glad Mamaw and Poppy are stayin put with me!!!

They got back and Mamaw began packing the car with errands she’s gonna do on her own. Poppy is stayin with me—that probably means a nap and some lovin…

Mamaw looked like “an 18-wheeler ran over her” when she got home. She’s just not recoverin from that awful cold she has. And she really didn’t want to get out of bed again this morning but I did my usual routine and she couldn’t resist me.

Errands are done—sheets are washed—Poppy and I have had a nap so we all settled down to do NOTHING—ABSOLUTELY NOTHING…and that’s what we did all night. Well, Mamaw did download the other pictures taken at the Notre Dame game (did I tell ya Notre Dame won—28 to 3)? Perfect…

And then early to bed cause Mamaw can’t get rid of that awful, awful headache of her. Poppy gave her a good back rub and off we went. I was pretty tired myself and just couldn’t settle down so at 9:00 a.m. she picked up “her sleeping baby” and took me to my kennel. I love when she picks me up and I’m still asleep—well, she does too!! I just snuggle right into her arms…so comforting.
