I got lucky today—I think they are too tired to do too much so we’re gonna spend some time with Dan cause he took the day off from work. They gotta run lots of errands cause tomorrow is the “BIG GAME” and they’re goin back to Notre Dame for that! I didn’t ride along for all of that cause Mamaw is gonna be in and out of the car a lot.

She had to go to the Mall to get a new battery for James’ birthday watch. And she wanted to get a birthday cake and ice cream for after dinner tonight. His birthday is already over but WE didn’t get to celebrate with him so we’re gonna do it now! And she found a pair of glass frames “she can’t live without” so she has to pick them up too.

Mamaw takes Isaiah and me outside and we run back and forth across the lawns by the lake. I just love runnin through those huge leaves with my ears flyin behind me—I kinda feel like THE FLYING NUN. It’s great I tell ya! And Mamaw keeps cutting slips off plants and plantin em—I suppose she wants to take them home with her. I wonder if they’ll fit in the car—we were jam-packed full coming out. I hope they don’t forget to take me home with em…

It’s a “special birthday supper” for James—everything he likes. And I guess it was good too—course I didn’t get any…and the ice cream and cake looked delicious. NOTE: I said looks delicious.

Jonn had a special project for filming class so he asked James to help him film the “stills.” They had to do 40 of them…it took a long, long time. That Jonn, he’s gonna be famous one of these days getting all of that filming experience Mamaw says.

I was glad to get to bed…this house is just full of activities and it wears me out I’ll see ya all in the morning…
