It’s pretty darned early to be getting up Mamaw I’m thinkin. Poppy has to work but NOT YET for heaven’s sake. She says she’s goin to have breakfast with old classmates—and they are OLD. She leaves me with Poppy and off she goes—and know what? She had the wrong day! Now is that a hoot or what? Poppy and I were both surprised to see her back so soon; and now we know why.

I’m not even goin to start in on her today. I’ll just slink off and entertain myself while she works all of this out for herself. She’s gonna be on the computer a LONG TIME TODAY! I get a potty break if I kick up a stink—that’s about all. Oh, I shouldn’t say that—Mamaw took me outside and gave me a really good brushing. I’m shedding and she doesn’t really want all that on the carpet and the furniture so we go through this process every day. It’s nice—we go outside where it doesn’t matter if the hair flies around and trust me it feels so good! The rest of the time she’s tryin to get Emily’s portfolio as close to finished as possible cause she’s wantin to get down to “brass tacks” with her novel.

And she's STILL WORKIN IN THE OFFICE when Poppy comes home and he asked her for a date—can ya believe that? In the kennel—off they go—BORING!

And when they got home they were all lovey-dovey but I did get out of the kennel for a while. We three played and played (they did that just to appease me) and then back to the kennel. I’m getting pretty sick and tired of this procedure folks. But in the meantime Mamaw and Poppy are in their bedroom just ‘hootin’ it up and I’m gonna have to say goodnight.
