It’s another Sunday—Poppy always works! Mamaw says it is the lonliest day of the week. She says it’s family day. Ya can’t just go bargin in to peoples’ lives so ya need to find something to entertain yourself. We’re having trouble with that today—Mamaw got sunburned walkin that 3 miles so now she doesn’t want to make that worse; I’m glad. These short walks are about all I want to contend with right now with these “noises” that scare me to death!
It is good to see her just sit down and read the Sunday paper for a change. Of course I’m dyin to get my hands on the paper but know I’ll be in trouble with her. When she’s done with that, we go to the office and write the blog. It’s good to have that done each day so now I can go do what I want to do (and just hope she doesn’t catch me). She stays there and works for a long time on other stuff.
Finally she decides she has to go out—I’m in the kennel. Okay—see ya in a bit. She went out to get some stuff she needs to put together Emily’s Horse and Photo Portfolio. Now that’ll give her something to do! She had a little list but she hadn’t written down a new alarm clock so—she came back without one. Yep, the night we lost our power did the clock in…rarely need one but should have one anyway—just in case.
Back to the office organizing photos of Em and Sasha now and having a good time. She’s in a better mood. And besides that, she talked to her good friend Lin for about an hour so all is well. And I don’t know if I’m supposed to tell or not, but Mamaw is writing a book too. As if she doesn’t have enough to do but she feels compelled to do this for herself.
Poppy came draggin in—what a day! He just wants piece and quiet and the golf tournament. That Tiger guy just isn’t cuttin it—we don’t know if he ever will again. Mamaw says it’s sad what he’s done to his life.
And so I guess I’m gonna call it a day…night all.
