It’s Sunday—that’s always a hard day for Mamaw. In addition to that, she told Poppy she had a terrible night. Looks like today might just be a “bummer.” She was promised one of his great haircuts though so she got up and around. I love to chew on her clean hair as Poppy clips it and it falls to the floor but I kinda got yelled at for that today—I gotta sit on the rug by the door. She says, “Good job” a lot so I behave. And ya know, after a haircut there’s all that cleanin up to do. And to really give Poppy a big thank you, she fixed those great big cinnamon rolls with the yummy sour cream frosting. Oh don’t worry—I GOT NONE. But they go on and on about how good they are so ya know they are. And great big glasses of orange juice—sometimes I wish I was HUMAN so I could eat like that too!

Bye Poppy—see ya tonight and off he goes. Mamaw decided she’d best do some laundry and ya know I gotta help her or she’d never get it done. I have to tell her when the buzzer goes off that the washer or dryer is done. Then I have to help get the clothes in the dryer—or out of the dryer—whichever comes first. It’s a job I tell ya, it’s a job…

Then I find myself bein led to the kennel and off she goes. Don’t know where—don’t know for how long. She’s in a mood and I’m not goin there today. When she came back though, she had a package and a big smile on her face so I guess it was a good outing.

The sun is out and it’s really a gorgeous day. Mamaw wants to sand on her Darrell Swanson project so she hooked me up to the cable outside. Now, I wasn’t nearly as worried about that SANDER when I was outside and could SEE what was goin on. Didn’t like it but it was okay. And she did a lot of “hand sandin” today so that helped too. She says she’s got those little spots that need special attention. Go figure!

After dinner, she FINALLY sat down and read the Sunday paper. She has a terrible time relaxin so I loved that. I wanted to get after the paper and make her play with me but decided she needed the rest. I do love to play “tug” with her though. And at last, the waterbed. Thank God for that waterbed! And I loved it cause Poppy came back and joined us…he had one hand on my belly and the other on Mamaw—now, how sweet and loving is that? Wonderful time as a family…see ya all in the morning.
