We’re barely up—barely around and there goes Mamaw with her big clippers, down to the area left natural for the geese that think they own our joint. She’s trimming some of that junk back cause she thinks it’s way too over grown. When she came back in, you could just tell she was all in…
But she’s runnin to the basement to start Miss Betty’s laundry. It’s kind of disgusting tryin to slow that woman down. Poppy says he just hasn’t been able to “train her” to slow down.
Poppy decided right then and there that he’d get her out of the house with him for a while. She got around and took her shower and got cleaned up and then off they went! They’re lookin at new windows for part of the house so they decided to go “look” at em.
And there’s new art work on 86th Street in Clive so he surprised her and took her by there. She didn’t have her camera so you can bet she’ll be goin back there just before you know it! Maybe I could go too?
Mamaw says writin her novel is hard work cause everything wants to eat up her time. She worked on it though and I suspect she’ll get as cranky about that as she is about getting all this work done she thinks she has to do.
At least today she didn’t SAND anything—I hate the sound of that thing. BUT, she did plant the 3 lavender mums she bought for the front common’s area. I went outside and encouraged her every move and was thankful when we were finally done.
