I’m feeling a little better today but boy, the minute I walked out the door to potty I knew the weather was at least 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. When I wasn’t feeling up to the walks yesterday, Mamaw warned me we were going to be cooler and she was right! We started a walk and I laid down three times in the driveway—she just got her hand under my tummy and forced me up. I struggled with wanting to lay down but she just made me keep going. She thinks I’m trying to pull the wool over her eyes. We did abbreviate the walk though, when we turned the corner and the wind was so strong, we cut through and got back to the house. Mamaw had to blow her nose right away and told Poppy how cold it was. They talked a little bit about my behavior…wonder what’s up?


I can’t tell you how disappointed I was that Mamaw and Poppy left me in my kennel all afternoon. Come to find out, they went out for breakfast and went CAR SHOPPING! They drove a 2002 Black Thunderbird, a 2003 White Thunderbird (coupes; both of them). That means a removable hard top over the convertible top. Then Poppy saw the Nissan Z so they drove that too. She said they went into the Toyota Used Car building and Mamaw spotted a 2007 RED MIATA CONVERTIBLE! She told me she immediately said, “Oh, wouldn’t Miss Scarlett look good in that”? So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days…

Mamaw was so tired she told Poppy she was going to bed about 7:30 so I stayed up with him a while. I’m trying to be nice but I’d love to be in with her. She has EXILED me from the bedroom you know. She just gets kind of bent out of shape when I try to get in there. I gotta work on that!
