Oh my gosh – only 52 degrees this morning. I hope winter isn’t going to come too soon. I want to play outside and get used to my new surroundings before it is too cold to enjoy it. My adoptive parents have been to PetSmart and an Animal Hospital to check whether they approve of their facilities. PetSmart has all kinds of stuff available: grooming, supplies, Doggy Day Care and a hospital. They also have a vet on staff there but they didn’t seem overly impressed about that. The Animal Hospital has 3 vets; 1 male and 2 female. I wonder which and what options they are going to decide on. I’m becoming convinced though, that they really are looking out for my best interest. I’m starting to get excited too!

That’s the good news – the bad news is they have 8 pages of “how to” train me which includes the commands for watch, sit, down, stand, stop barking (I can’t even bark yet), quiet, wait, stay, leave it and take it. Did I say 8 pages? I hope I don’t have to learn all of this at once; I’ll be exhausted. And…I hope they still have the energy to play and love me. We’ll see…
