It was COLD when I woke up this morning – I cuddled up to my brother’s big time! If I’m going to have to go outside to “go potty” when I get to my new home, I’d better try to toughen up a little. Mom isn’t nearly as acceptable of nursing now – if she’s not in the mood, she just stands up and leaves. I hope when I get hungry, someone will feed me.
Mamaw, my adoptive Mom, e-mailed Nydia this morning to thank her for putting my 4-week picture on the website. She is going to do a genealogy page for me and she has asked for some “special” pictures of my breeder. This lady must have the time to do something like this. It will be a nice remembrance for me. I hope we get to know the names and adoption facts for each of my brothers too.

- Since 1982 I have wanted to write a book. But it was never possible for me to dedicate myself to writing so I pushed it aside. Permanent retirement caught up with me in March 2010. I began writing that novel and it is finished; now in its 4th editing. And during that time, I've become selfish about having it published. You see, it is a true story--MATCH.COM--and much too intimate to share with the masses. It is being held back for family and friends to enjoy at the proper time. And as previously mentioned, Miss Scarlett came into our lives at just the right time to completely enjoy her. She had a voice in this house from the very beginning and wanted to share feelings from her point of view from the beginning--I gave her that audience. Then she decided to take a break for nearly a year--she is back folks!
