I have to confess I had mixed feeling when my breeder told me the adoptive family is older. I’m thinkin’ oh boy! No energy; just sit around and not want to do anything…but I’ve heard by the grapevine that the house is being “puppy proofed” and everything will be cleaned and polished. I can almost smell the Pine Sol from all of her cleaning. My breeder updated the website and now they’ve saved the pictures of my Mom, my Dad, my brothers and me at 4 weeks. Well, Mom and Dad for full grown, of course. But get this, they are sending them to everybody—and I mean everybody to pre-introduce me. I’m really happy about that cause that means they are excited. I think 2 more weeks and I’m out of here….

I was born July 30, 2009 and just today my breeder told me that a family wants to adopt me. It’s too soon yet so I need to make the most of the time left with my 5 brothers. I’m the “runt” in the family and the boys can be a little rough on me. I have so many questions – I wonder if my new adoptive family does too? Will they provide all I need? I’m going to need a lot of love. Will they be able to give it to me? I’m afraid I’ll cry myself to sleep when I get separated from my Mom and the boys. Why can’t we just go on with life as it is? I don’t want things to change. I expected to grow up and live with Mom and the boys…I have to be careful – I don’t want to get stressed out. Maybe I should just lie down and take a nap…hummmmmmm.
